Disco Still Sucks - 1970's Music Rebellion Modern Reboot
Thankfully, no one is releasing old Disco music anymore.Buy On Amazon
Oh, to be in Chicago's Comiskey Park on July 12, 1979 to watch the unintended funeral for Disco music put on by shock-jock Steve Dahl. Tickets to this double-header baseball game were discounted to 98¢ (!) if you handed in a 'Disco' record at the door, which would be actually blown up mid-series in a cheeky rebellion against the African and Latin-inspired dance music that was highly embraced by gay culture. Not surprisingly, the redneck jocks of rock 'n' roll high school finally had enough and destroyed the ball park so badly in the ensuing riot that the White Sox had to forfeit the following game. That's right, Disco had an effect on MLB standing in the 1970's! This is why it still sucks.
