It looks like a framed grainy black and white polaroid, but every few minutes, it subtly changes the picture and advances time by a fraction of a second. The Slow Movie Player is a delightful alternate to the backlit color displays we surround ourselves with. It displays a single frame of a movie file one at a time on it's paper-like surface until the entire movie is shown over weeks or months. The advanced ePaper screen isn't backlit, and even retains the image when it's unplugged! The embedded video below shows a frame change over 4 seconds.
Full purchase price is $300, with a $150 deposit taken today to reserve your Slow Movie Player. Purchasing customer is expected to send a digital video file in MP4 format for inclusion in the final product before final delivery. We do not stock the displays, and the pandemic has diminished stock and deliveries worldwide.
